About

Sixty acres of orchard in Shoreham, Vermont, established in 1998 by Bill Suhr. The operation now spans over 300 acres of fruit trees, growing 146 varieties of apples alongside 23 pears, 17 peaches, 15 plums, 9 cherries, 6 nectarines, and berries. In 2020, the farm acquired neighboring Douglas Orchards. Fruit is ecologically grown and third-party certified by the IPM Institute or organically certified by VOF. The farm runs almost entirely on solar power. Citra hard cider earned Platinum in the Hopped category, Tuscan Blue earned Platinum in the Botanical category, and Honeycrisp was named Judges' Pick in the Single Varietal category at the 9th Annual Cidercraft Awards. Farmstead cider was selected as one of ten best ciders in the country in USA Today's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards for Best Cider. Outdoor seating and a picnic area are available.
