About Whaleback Vineyard
Nine acres in Poultney, Vermont, where over 6,000 vines grow across an old farm. The work happens in a historic remodeled barn, where St. Croix, Marquette, La Crescent, Frontenac, and Frontenac Gris are produced, cellared, and bottled on estate. The portfolio spans white, red, rosé, fruit wines, and honey mead. Tastings happen Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm, in a colonial farmhouse built in the late 1700s and remodeled in the late 1800s. The tasting room also hosts a small gallery of local artists. Free to taste.
