About Cascina Morassino

Cascina Morassino was founded in 1984 by Bianco Mauro in Barbaresco's Ovello subzone. The winery tends 4.5 hectares across two sites, with 3.5 hectares in Barbaresco facing southeast and one hectare in Neive facing west, both planted on calcareous marl at 270 meters. Nebbiolo dominates the portfolio, alongside smaller parcels of Dolcetto, Barbera, and Merlot. Bianco Roberto leads the cellar work with temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, and barriques. The house produces approximately 22,000 bottles annually.
