About CASCINA KREJBERG Società Agricola s.r.l.
Two kilometers outside Canelli, a 1920s cascina anchors a young operation founded in 2020. Half a hectare, worked ninety-five percent by hand and certified organic as of 2024. The oenologist draws on experience across California, Bordeaux, and Barolo. The program spans Barbera d'Asti Superiore, Moscato Secco and Moscato d'Asti, Langhe Rosato and Nebbiolo, and Barbaresco from the Gaia-Principe fields. Moscato and Rosato see eight months in stainless steel. The rest age in regenerated oak, Barbaresco for twenty-four months. A sister operation, The Winery Neive, opened in 2023 in the Barbaresco Comune. Production runs to roughly two thousand bottles.
