Carter Family Wines, founded in 2018 by Jon-Michial Carter and Catherine Carter, sources fruit from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, and Oregon, then makes the wines in Greenville, South Carolina. The program spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Tannat, Malbec, Merlot, and Grenache Noir, moving through blends like the Black Label Red Blend, the Dum Spiro Spero Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah Red Blend, and the Lords Reserve Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon Red Blend, alongside single varietals such as Folly Reserve Tannat and Medusa Merlot. The house works with growers on sustainable and ethical farming practices. Tastings are by membership and invitation only.
