Carlson Orchards, Inc.

About

Walter and Eleanor Carlson planted the first trees in 1936. Now, nearly ninety years later, their orchard spans one hundred acres in Harvard, Massachusetts, still worked by the second and third generation of the family. The program grows thirty thousand bushels of apples annually, alongside five thousand baskets of peaches and nectarines. A fifty-year-old blueberry patch produces steadily. Raspberries and sweet cherries round out the portfolio. The house makes hard ciders from the harvest, served at the Cider Barn, a taproom available for corporate and private events on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
