Capstone Vineyards, family-owned, works this terrain for small-production whites and reds. Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Muscat Ottonell, and Chardonnay anchor the white program. Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon form the red portfolio. The tasting room opens Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from noon to five, Friday and Saturday noon to six. Reservations required Tuesday and Wednesday.
