Blue Mountain in Linden rises between 1000 and 1500 feet, its south and southwest-facing slopes rooted in high rock content. Capstone Vineyards, family-owned, works this terrain for small-production whites and reds. Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Muscat Ottonell, and Chardonnay anchor the white program. Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon form the red portfolio. The tasting room opens Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from noon to five, Friday and Saturday noon to six. Reservations required Tuesday and Wednesday.
