About Cape Naturaliste Vineyard

A sextant is a sailor's star-charmed guide,A crescent of brass where the heavens confide. With mirrors that catch both horizon and flame,It measures the angle and charts out a name.Held to the eye like a scholar of skies,It steals down the sun where the sea-lantern lies. With each careful tilt and celestial kiss,It whispers your place in a cosmos of mist. Not clocks nor compasses know quite so well,Where latitude dances and longitudes dwell. Our "Sextant" Appassimento will definitley steer you in the right direction!Appassimento is a traditional Italian winemaking technique where grapes are dried naturally, concentrating their sugars, flavours, and acidity before fermentation. This process leads to full-bodied, complex wines and ours is a very special example of this style. This was our favourite winery / vineyard of the Margaret River. It just doesn't get better than this.Jennifer was welcoming, warm and friendly and made our experience one to remember, as did her gorgeous pooches. We were seated outside overlooking the vineyard and our tasting began. Delicious whites and amazing reds - all brought to life by Jennifer. This is a true family business, steeped in history and love. And, great that you can buy wine for shipping across Australia. Nestled in a picturesque valley behind the Cape Naturaliste coastline, you'll find our 19th Century Stone Inn and the historic milking shed which is home to our boutique cellar door. Known for our warmth and down-to-earth approach, we offer a range of delicious wines that reflect a sense of place and the benefit of the maritime climate our location enjoys.
