About Ca'Barun
Ca'Barun works by hand across Piemonte's Roero and Langhe zones, drawing from sandy hills and limestone-tufa soils. The program centers on Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Arneis, and Freisa, each shaped by soft pressing and slow fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. Arneis grows on Roero's sandy slopes, emerging as Roero Arneis DOCG. Pinot Nero, first produced in 2017, comes from Valdivilla with sand and limestone tufa soil. The Metodo Classico sparkling wine blends 70 percent Pinot Nero and 30 percent Chardonnay from Santo Stefano Belbo. Freisa spends 18 months in French oak. The house also produces Vermouth di Torino.
