About
Byler Lane Winery opened in Auburn, Indiana in 2016, drawing from local grapes alongside fruit sourced from New York, Chile, and California. The program ranged across Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay, alongside native varietals like Catawba and Concord. Barnwood Blush was made from estate-grown Catawba grapes. Seasonal releases, among them Rebel Currant, Peachy Keen, Dog Days of Summer, and Cranberry, rotated through the portfolio alongside year-round offerings like Poolside Punch, Mojito, and Indiana Dawn. Wines were bottled in house. Many wines earned recognition at the Indy International Wine Competition. The winery closed permanently on June 6, 2026, and the space transitioned to operate as an event center.
