About Bowen Arrow Winery and Vineyards
A 900-foot driveway leads to Bowen Arrow's tasting room, housed in a garage on the property's 4-acre vineyard in Phoenixville. The portfolio centers on Austrian varietals, each wine named after characters and songs from The Sound of Music. Edelweiss is a Grüner Veltliner. Seventeen, a Zweigelt. Do-Re-Mi, a Blaufränkisch. Liesl, a Gewürztraminer. The program also includes Riesling, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Tastings run $20 for a flight of four wines, poured as 3 ounces each in individual mini-carafes with two glasses.
