About Bodegas Condado de Haza
Roa, in Burgos, holds 200 hectares of vineyard planted beginning in 1988 by Familia Fernández Rivera. Bodegas Condado de Haza was founded in 1993 to work those vines. The soils here run clay and sand. The house practices 100% organic production, drawing Tempranillo from the estate into a cellar tunneled 30 meters deep. The Crianza earned recognition from Wine Spectator in 2008 as one of the world's 100 best wines.
