About Bodega Viña Alta

Bodega Viña Alta was founded in 1965 in Mendoza, Argentina, and has remained family-grown, family-owned, and family-run. The operation spans almost 100 hectares distributed across four estates, three in San Martín and one in Maipú, within the Oasis Este. The oldest vineyards are 50 years old. The bodega transitioned from bulk wine production to bottling their own wines, beginning to sell 750 ml bottles in 2016. Valentina Ludica, daughter of the founding couple, joined in 1996. On the original estate grounds, a posada de campo operates with lunch and dinner service.
