This tiny family-run vineyard near Christchurch has been handcrafting Pinot Gris since 2012 on half a hectare of perfectly suited silt loam soil. The Walsh family does all the work themselves, from vine to bottle, which is pretty special. You'll need to arrange an appointment to visit, but if you're keen on small-batch stuff, it's worth the effort.
