About

Arnold Bauer carries four generations of winemaking into Südsteiermark's Kranachberg vineyard. Specialization on wine began in the 1970s under Anna and Karl Bauer, when the family committed to wine production on nearly exclusively own land. Today the program centers on Welschriesling and Zweigelt, both bottled under the trademark-protected Peter Rosegger label. The winery operates a guest house and welcomes visitors for direct sales and vineyard tours.
