About Apple Works Winery LLC
Kevin Behnke acquired this Germantown property in 2002 as a former apple orchard, establishing Apple Works Winery in 2007. The program centers on barrel-aged red wines, with Cabernet Sauvignon spending 35 months in French oak. The portfolio spans whites like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc alongside reds including Barbera, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Carmenere, and Syrah, plus St. Pepin and La Crosse. Jennlynn and Barbera have earned bronze medals at the New York International Wine Competition. Family-owned and operated, the winery offers a tasting room with outdoor seating and food.
