These folks have been making small-batch, award-winning wines in Dry Creek Valley for over 25 years, but here's the thing: they ferment and age some of their Rhone, Spanish and Italian varietals in terracotta amphorae imported from Italy, which is pretty much the opposite of what most wineries do.
