Alfred Markus Deim

About

Alfred Markus Deim has worked the terraced slopes of Naturpark Schönberg-Kamptal and the Wachau since 1772. Four generations of the Deim family, now led by Alfred Markus, Julia, Alfred Jr., and Alfred Sr., tend vineyards across both regions using controlled integrated production and hand-harvested grapes. Wines ferment in a traditional vaulted cellar held at 8-10°C year-round. The portfolio spans traditional wines, premium selections, sweet wines, and sparkling wines, alongside grape juice and Magnum formats. Wines are aged in oak barrels. The Zirbenstube tasting room opens by telephone appointment, Monday through Saturday.
