About Alcantara Vineyards & Winery
Alcantara sits where the Verde River and Oak Creek meet in Cottonwood, Arizona. Family-owned and sustainably farmed, the vineyard tends over 20,000 vines across 17 varietals. The program helped pioneer winemaking in the region and has maintained one of the Verde Valley's longest-standing wine clubs. Two bald eagle nests are located within 100 yards of the property. The estate offers an on-site restaurant, horseback rides and jeep tours through the vineyards, kayak and tubing trips along the Verde River, hay wagon rides, and a wedding chapel. Summer refrigerated shipping reaches Phoenix Metro, Tucott, and Prescott.
