About

Fifty-five acres in Leicester, North Carolina, with six acres of vines planted between 2250 and 2300 feet elevation. The property has been in the family for four generations, since Addison Farmer and his parents purchased it in 1937. Founded in 2009, the vineyard opened its tasting room in early December 2012. Jeff Frisbee produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng at a scale of 600 to 800 cases annually. The tasting room opens Thursday through Sunday, 2 to 7pm. Guided tastings cost $17 plus tax per person. Winemaker's tours cost $36 plus tax per person and are available most Saturdays at 2pm.
