About Weingut Espenschied
At the foot of Bosenberg in Bad Kreuznach-Bosenheim, Weingut Espenschied tends 14 hectares across four vineyard sites. A fourth-generation family operation, the winery is led by winemakers Philipp and Dagmar Espenschied. The program centers on Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, and Silvaner alongside fungus-resistant PIWI varieties including Cabernet Blanc and Sauvitage. Notable expressions include the Grauburgunder Barrique Trocken, Weißburgunder Barrique Trocken, and Silvaner – Alte Reben – trocken. Wine tastings offer views of the vineyards. The winery hosts group events of 12 to 20 participants and offers overnight accommodations in a renovated holiday apartment on the property. The winery is certified as a culture and wine ambassador of the Nahe region.
