About Weingut Wolf & Guth
Obermoschel sits in the Nahe, where Weingut Wolf & Guth works steep vineyard slopes, some rising to 60 percent grade. The Schlossberg site spreads below the ruins of Moschellandsburg castle, its volcanic porphyry rock feeding the vines. Silberberg faces south at the village edge, clay slate beneath. The house pours Riesling, Grauer Burgunder, Weisser Burgunder, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, and Würzer. The Burgunder wines age in old oak, emerging creamy and balanced. Beyond wine, the cellar holds Alter Landsberger, an herb liqueur with a recipe over 100 years old, fruit brandies from Williams-Christ pears and cherries, Flo-Zero alcohol-free wine, red and white grape juices, and mulled wines for winter. A tasting room is available.
