About Weingut Schloss Proschwitz
Meißen's Schloss Proschwitz began in 1704 when Dr. Jacob Friedrich Schilling acquired the estate and village, constructing the manor house and wine cellar that still stand. The program centers on Riesling, Elbling, Spätburgunder, and Grauburgunder, with the 2025 Goldriesling and 2025 Elbling recognized among Germany's best organic wines. The 2022 Grauburgunder GG scored 90 WP. The estate operates in harmony with nature with the goal of leaving a legacy that tastes good and carries the future forward. The Vinothek opens for tasting, with food service, outdoor seating, and a picnic area.
