Weingut Persöhnlich

About

Weingut Persöhnlich, founded in 2019 by Lilly Söhn and Paula Söhn, revived a family winemaking legacy that had gone silent in 1996. Lilly trained as a winemaker. Paula holds a Master's degree in beverage technology. They work steep-slope vineyards in Lorcher Schloßberg and Lorchhäuser Seligmacher, managing roughly a quarter hectare rooted in family history stretching to 1750. The first vintage was bottled in 2021. The program centers on Riesling, Silvaner, and Spätburgunder, with mineral notes from slate soil. The portfolio includes the 2025 Cuvée 1735 mild, 2025 Spätburgunder Weißherbst trocken, 2025 Silvaner halbtrocken, and 2024 Riesling trocken. A tasting room is open to visitors.
