About Ahrweiler Winzer-Verein e.G.
Founded in 1874 by 51 winemakers, Ahrweiler Winzer-Verein e.G. grew through a 1961 merger with Ahrweiler Weinbauverein. The cooperative introduced modern cellar technology in the 1980s while preserving the historic vaulted cellar. The program centers on Spätburgunder, alongside sparkling wines and spirits. A wine shop and regular tastings, including candlelit sessions on Tuesday evenings at 19:00 and Wednesday and Friday appointments from April to October, serve the community in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
