About Sektkellerei Oppmann
Würzburg's oldest Bavarian Sekt cellar sources wines directly from winemakers and estates. The program spans playful expressions like Cassisco, a cocktail of extra trocken Sekt and black currant nectar, and Deutscher Schwiegermutter Sekt, a cuvée made from German wines. J. Oppmann Schwarzlack arrives in halbtrocken dosage, while its Rosé draws Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot from Spain's Penedès region. Wal-Sekt Timmy is released in 1.5 L Magnumflasche format. One euro from each bottle sold goes to Whale and Dolphin Conservation. The tasting room is open Monday through Thursday, 08.00–16.00, and Friday mornings until 12.00.
