About Weingut Zolg
Armin Zolg, a certified winemaster and wine culture guide, and Gudrun Zolg lead the estate in Gailingen. Spätburgunder anchors the portfolio, alongside Müller Thurgau and Ruländer. A Hofbrennerei produces spirits from wine yeast, fruit brandy, marc-grappa, quince, pears, and stone fruits. The cellar also makes apple juice, non-alcoholic apple juice Secco, apple must, and apple wine. The Besenwirtschaft opens seasonally, Thursday to Saturday from six in the evening and Sunday and holidays from four. Two vacation apartments at the Winkelhof property are available.
Tasting Experiences
Weinbergrundfahrten (Vineyard Tours)
Guided tractor-trailer tours through the Gailingen vineyards with views of the Rhine, led by winemaker Armin Zolg. Tours last 2-2.5 hours and cost €240 per trailer (max 30 people). Optional add-ons include wine tastings (€16.80 per person) and traditional Swabian food platters (€13 per person).
Besenwirtschaft
Traditional wine tavern open seasonally (March-April and September-October 2026), serving wine and local food. Thursday-Saturday from 6pm, Sunday and holidays from 4pm.
Schlachtplatte
Special event October 22-25, 2026 featuring traditional Swabian slaughter plate specialties.
