About Weingut Franz Jäckel
Weingut Franz Jäckel has worked the Nahe since 1524, a five-generation operation now led by Thomas, Margret, Cathrin, Peter, and Christoph Jäckel across 38 hectares. The portfolio spans eleven white varietals, from Riesling to Sauvignon Blanc to Scheurebe, alongside six reds including Spätburgunder and Dornfelder. The house also produces Winzersekte via traditional bottle fermentation, plus liqueurs, brandies, grape seed oil, and wine vinegar. A tasting room accommodates up to 80 guests. Recent releases include the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc trocken, the 2024 Roxheimer Berg Riesling, the 2024 Johannisberg Riesling, and Riesling Felseneck trocken.
