A short list on purpose
Eight wineries in Sonoma County say yes to children in writing. That is not many, and the ones that do tend to be the ones with room to run rather than a policy about it.
What you are looking for is space and food. A tasting room with a lawn and a kitchen solves the afternoon. A tasting room with neither will not, whatever the website says.

The ones with room
Bricoleur in Windsor runs seasonal multi-course pairings with their own chefs and gardeners, and the gardens are the reason to bring the family rather than a complication. Trione has been family-run for more than forty years across Geyserville and will set you up outside.
Larson Family is five generations into organic farming in Sonoma and takes dogs as well, which usually travels with taking children.

The cheaper end
DeLoach in Santa Rosa opens at fifteen dollars and is a serious Russian River producer, so nobody is trading down to be here. Wattle Creek is thirty and has been at it since 1994. Muscardini in Kenwood is thirty five.

Porter Creek sits on Westside Road in Healdsburg, where Alex Davis grew up on the property and now makes the wine. Moondance in Sebastopol has food, a picnic area, and takes dogs.
Eight is the honest number. Book the two with gardens and the day works.
