The idea of creating a Venue & Cellar Door after 3 generations of supplying fruit and wines to other local wineries was an exciting step forward for us as a family. This magnificent Venue & Cellar Door with its rustic charm is located in the town of beautiful McLaren Vale South Australia, 40 minutes’ drive from Adelaide and set amongst the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz vineyard. This extraordinary vineyard alone has a story to tell, planted over 130 years ago and still producing exceptional fruit, creating extraordinary wine. His passion for wine, a keen sense for detail and a desire for learning has led to him being a consistently exceptional and a humble young winemaker. The cellar door, offers a fantastic range of wines from both the Vine Shed & Conte Estate labels for tasting & purchase. When visiting, we recommend trying the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz along with share platters, wood oven pizzas and other food selections on offer.
