About Tenuta Carretta
Tenuta Carretta traces its roots to 1467 in Piobesi d'Alba, in the Roero area of Piemonte. Eighty hectares of vineyards sit within the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato wine district, recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage in 2014. The house practices sustainable viticulture, harvesting by hand and pressing grapes softly. The portfolio spans Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Gavi, Moscato d'Asti, Asti, and Brachetto d'Acqui. The property holds a restaurant, a wine shop and enoteca, and a Charme Hotel. A second restaurant sits on the Cannubi hill in Barolo. The family also operates Cantina Malgrà in the Astigiano region and Edoardo Miroglio Winery in Bulgaria.
