About Sigl

Eight hectares across three vineyard sites in Rossatz-Arnsdorf, in the Wachau. Sigl began converting to organic viticulture in 2018, with wines certified organic from the 2021 vintage onward. The program draws from Himmelreich, Frauenweingärten, and Kirnberg. Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Kirnberg comes from 60-year-old vines. Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Frauenweingärten is aged in large wooden barrels. Tastings are held in a modern setting.
