About Pacina Società Agricola Semplice
A 10th-century monastery in Castelnuovo Berardenga, a few kilometers east of Siena in the Chianti hills. Pacina was founded as a winery in 1987, the same year the first bottle without sulfites was produced. The Tiezzi Borsa family has stewarded the property for nearly a century. Giovanna and Stefano were the main protagonists of the project since the early 1990s. Maria and Carlo, alongside their spouses Roberto and Elisabeth, have pursued natural winemaking across all Pacina grapes. The estate works organically, growing wine, oil, cereals, and legumes. The program offers three tasting experiences, from La Degustazione to La Verticale, plus olive oil tastings. Four independent apartments welcome guests year-round.
