About Domaine Louis Lequin
Santenay, 1604. The Lequin family began as laborers in the vineyard. By 1669, Philibert Lequin owned Les Clos Genet. A century later, Antoine Lequin became vintner for the Hospices d'Autun. Louis-Isidore Lequin built the family house and established the domaine proper in 1852. The program now spans parcels across Bâtard-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, Pommard, and Nuits-Saint-Georges. In 1950, Jean Lequin shipped to the Waldorf Astoria. Antoine Lequin, Louis Lequin, and Jean Lequin are the current winemakers. Antoine completed his first solo vinification in 2009.
