About Canneto
Canneto sits in Montepulciano, where the house has worked since 1987, when Canneto AG of Zurich acquired the estate. The program centers on Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet, made into Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G, Rosso di Montepulciano D.O.C, and a portfolio of IGT Toscana wines including Filippone, Calamus, and Il Muffato. The Vino Nobile blends 90% Sangiovese with 5% Merlot and 5% Cabernet, aging 18 months in French barrels before at least six months in bottle. All production has been certified organic from the 2017 vintage forward. A tasting room with outdoor seating is available to visitors.
