About Weingut Reef

Weingut Reef traces its family line to 1773, when the Reefs first appeared in the autumn and spring registers of the Counts of Manderscheid-Blankenheim. Today, Bernhard Reef and his son Matthias shape the program from vineyards in the Osanner wine regions around Osann-Monzel on the Mittelmosel. Hand-harvesting of only healthy, ripe grapes and strict yield limitation define the work. The cellar practices sustainable viticulture with minimal fertilization and biodiverse vineyard cover. The portfolio centers on Riesling, Burgunder, and Grauburgunder, including the 2023 Grauburgunder and Secco Apollonia. A tasting room is available.
