Matthias Lay works the steep slate terraces of Pünderich, in the Mosel. The 2025 Riesling Spätlese from Pündericher Nonnengarten and the Auslese from Dossel, picked at 105° Oechsle, anchor the portfolio alongside the 2024 von den Schieferterrassen from Pündericher Marienburg and the 2025 Riesling vom roten Schiefer from red slate soil at Pündericher Marienburg. Müller-Thurgau rounds the program. The Straußwirtschaft opens Thursday to Saturday from 5 PM, starting April 30. Tastings by appointment.
