Weingut K.H. Schneider

About Weingut K.H. Schneider

Founded in 1956 when Karl Heinz Schneider arrived in Bad Sobernheim and recultivated the Sobernheimer Berg with vines, Weingut K.H. Schneider now spans 15 hectares across four vineyard sites. Domberg, Marbach, Königsfels, and Felsenberg anchor the program. Riesling dominates at 65 percent of the vines, with Burgundy varieties making up 25 percent. The cellar works with wooden barrels, some up to 70 years old, to age the portfolio of Riesling, Weissburgunder, Grauburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Spätburgunder, and Pinot Noir. Karl Heinz Schneider, Andi Schneider, and Christoph Schneider lead the work.
