Zepeda's Vineyard and Winery

About

Mary and Julio Zepeda bought this 40-acre property in East Texas in November 2016 and opened the winery in January 2020. Muscadine grapes have grown here since 1994. The program now spans 5 acres of vines, producing Red Muscadine from Nobles, Ison and Black Beauty, White Muscadine from Darlene and Sweet Jenny, Aurora from Magnolia grapes, Smokehouse Red from Noble grapes, Vintage from Carlos grapes, and Texas Treasure, a 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting room opens Friday and Saturday from noon to six, with an outdoor patio for tastings and occasional small private events.
