About
Winemaking in Hohenwarth-Mühlbach a.M. since 1756. Christian Zeilinger works with Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Zweigelt, Rotgipfler, Roter Veltliner, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gelber Muskateller. The Roter Veltliner Alte Reben was the favorite wine of the former Austrian imperial house. Rotgipfler Reserve was formerly the wine of the Prälaten. Cuvée Pleyel is released only in the best vintages and is dedicated to Joseph Pleyel, a composer born in the region. The Naked 2020 Zweigelt spent 210 days on pomace. The winery holds the Nachhaltig Austria sustainability seal and produces wines under the Built by Nature certification.
