About

Yavapai College's viticulture and enology program, established in 2009, operates a 12.95-acre estate vineyard in Clarkdale. Every bottle in the tasting room is made by students. In their second year, they develop and produce wines as part of coursework. Each year, the program selects a standout wine and features the winning student's name and photo on the label. The tasting room opens Thursday through Sunday, noon to six. Wine club membership runs about $300 annually, with two releases per year in April and October, six bottles each, plus 20% off all purchases year-round. The program offers viticulture and enology certificates and a two-year AAS degree.
