About

Matt Johnson and Jerry English, cousins and land surveyors, planted their first Muscadine vines in the winter of 2013 on an abandoned golf course in Americus. What began as Mapmaker's Red, Number 9 Red, and Number 9 White has grown into a portfolio of twelve handcrafted wines across nearly 1,400 vines covering 12 acres. Wolf Creek Plantation is Sumter County's first and only winery specializing in Muscadine wine. The property also hosts weddings and events.
