About Wine Scribes LLC
Andrew and Adam Mariani carry forward a lineage of fourth-generation California farming. Founded in 2007, Wine Scribes LLC works from a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking under Emil Dresel. The program pursues terroir-driven wines through non-interventionist methods. The Scribe Viticultural Society, a modern incarnation of the Buena Vista Viticultural Society established in 1858, offers quarterly allocations in 4, 6, or 12 bottle formats. Wine Enthusiast featured the house's special tasting experience in April 2014.
