About Windemere
Andy MacGregor planted 12 acres of Pinot Noir here in 1974, making it the first vineyard in Edna Valley. The estate still farms that original site (now mostly budded over to Wente clone Chardonnay), plus they pull Pinot from 40+ year old Martini clone vines and fruit from Aubaine Vineyard above the Pacific.
