About Weingut Hamm an der Burgkirche
Twenty hectares of vineyard anchored at the historic Burgkirche in Ober-Ingelheim. Weingut Hamm an der Burgkirche produces the traditional Burgundy varieties, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris, alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gelber Muskateller, and Sauvignon Blanc added in recent years. The house practices sustainable production through bottle rinsing, cardboard reuse, winter cover crops, and compost fertilization. A large Vinothek on the estate serves tastings and direct sales. Since 1965, when grandfather Robert began delivery tours in a Ford Taunus estate car, the program has grown to 12 regular routes across Germany twice yearly. A 60-bottle minimum applies along these routes.
