About Weinbau Margit &Christian Falkinger
Six and a half hectares in the Retzer Land, in the Pulkautal at the foot of the Manhartsberg. This is Weinviertel country, and Grüner Veltliner leads the range, anchored by a Weinviertel DAC bottling. Gelber Muskateller, Zweigelt, and a rosé made exclusively from Zweigelt grapes round out the portfolio, alongside Riesling and the newer Donauriesling. Margit is the Winzerin here. Christian works alongside her as a Winzer aus Überzeugung, a winemaker by conviction. The estate is a family one, home to Margit and Christian and their three children, Peter, Martin, and Elisabeth.
