About

Barolo, 1950. Virna Borgogno was the first woman in Italy to earn a degree in Enological Technique, and her family's vineyard holdings trace back to 1720. Three generations now work the program. Virna, Ivana, and Lorenzo produce Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto, including Barolo DOCG selections of Noi, del Comune di Barolo, Cannubi, Sarmassa, Brunate, and Riserva, alongside Barbaresco DOCG Montersino and Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Barbera d'Alba DOC, and Langhe DOC wines. The tasting room overlooks the historic Cannubi vineyard. Guided tours with tastings range from €30 to €100 per person.
