About Vigneti Cenci
At the foot of Monte Orfano in Lombardia, Vigneti Cenci tends vineyards on mineral-rich subsoil with south-facing exposure. Nelson Cenci, a doctor and writer, revived the estate's original vineyard, La Boscaiola. Giuliana Cenci moved to Franciacorta in the early 1980s, and the winery joined thirty others in founding the Franciacorta Consortium. The program centers on Pinot Bianco as its flagship varietal, alongside Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. Massimo, an enologist and agronomist, arrived during the 2004 harvest. The cellar uses endogenous grape sugars alone in both first and second fermentation, producing La Capinera Brut, La Via della Seta Saten, Nelson Cenci Extra Brut, and Zero Pas Dosé.
