About Vie di Romans

Vie di Romans began in 1978 in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with Gianfranco managing the estate from its founding. The program centers on white wines, each built to age. Chardonnay appears twice in the portfolio, in Vie di Romans and Ciampagnis, both reaching peak maturation around eight years and holding for eighteen. Dessimis is 100% Pinot Grigio, peaking at six years. Sauvignon Blanc takes two forms, Piere and Vieris, the latter maturing slightly faster. Flors di Uis blends Malvasia Istriana, Tocai Friulano, and Rhein Riesling into a wine that peaks at nine years. Dolee is pure Friulano, built for eight years of development.
