Valley Trails Winery, LLC

About

Valley Trails Winery began in April 2020 when Lou Ann Fike and Dennis Fike planted their first vines across 60 days, roughly 1600 plants in Westmoreland. By the end of 2023, they had bottled their first wines from purchased juice. Mid-2024 brought the first releases made entirely from their own grapes. The program centers on cold-hardy varietals, Frontenac, Marquette, Noiret, Marechal Foch, Vignoles, and Louise Swenson, each harvested by hand. The portfolio ranges from dry to sweet, Sunset Red and Scarlet Evenings among the reds, Sunrise Blush and Pinky Winky among lighter expressions, plus single-varietal Vignoles and Lucky Louise. In 2025, the winery moved into its own facility five miles south of Westmoreland, where the tasting room opens Friday through Sunday.
